October 2010: PFSI AAUs sold into Japan
Permanent Forests recently completed its first sale of PFSI AAUs into Japan to a multinational company. The PFSI AAUs were generated by a predominantly indigenous regenerating forest located in the Marlborough Sounds. The Buyer recognised the credibility of the PFSI mechanism and the quality of the units. Read our press release here.

PFI completes 100,000 VER sale
Permanent Forests completed a 100,000 tonne PFSI VER sale this month with a North American Buyer.

PFI sells PFSI VERs to NZ Buyers
Permanent Forests sold PFSI VERs this month for the first time to NZ buyers. These VERs cannot be surrendered for compliance within the NZ ETS but can be used for corporate social responsibility and branding opportunities. 

22 July 2010: 
PFI transacts first NZ Forest VERs into Europe
Permanent Forests completed at the end of July what it believes to be the first sale of voluntary forest carbon credits from New Zealand forests into the European voluntary market.

15 July 2010: Mark Belton appointed expert to French Carbon Forestry Panel
Permanent Forests' director Mark Belton has been appointed to the newly formed Carbon Forest and Wood Club, a not for profit organisation created by CDC Climate, a subsidiary of Caisse Des Depots.

15 June 2010: Denmark purchases NZ PFSI units
